Who is the event for?
For Centre staff assessing and/or internally verifying the NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development Qualifications.

What is the purpose of the event?
Through a mix of presentation, discussion and activities delegates will be encouraged to explore and receive guidance on common centre issues and queries when working with the standards.

Preparing for the event
It is essential that delegates bring along a copy of their standards.

to include a training pack, refreshments, lunch and the opportunity to explore the venue exhibitions and learning opportunities without further charge.

Venue Details:
To complement the content of the day these events are to be held in venues that offer ‘hands on’ experiential learning opportunities to enhance the learning and development of children/students. During the day venue staff will provide an input and delegates are able to explore the venue further free of charge during the lunch break and at the end of the day.

The event will commence with coffee and registration from 0930. There will be an opportunity to ‘post’ questions to be addressed during a plenary session. Lunch and networking is from 1230 to 1330 with the afternoon session beginning at 1330 for a 1600 finish.

  • The role of the Co-ordinating Assessor
